It was ok. My food was not cooked and when I mentioned it, I was asked snidely by the owner why I didn't send it back. He... discounted the meal so fine, but no apology, nothing as if it was my fault. 1 and done. Read more
Friends recommended, we tried it. There wasn?t any sauce on the chicken piccata. Their red sauce is really good.
One plate great, the other bad! No customer service. I felt ignored and not appreciated!
Blue Moose stands out as a disappointing place to go out for a meal. The service, food, and atmosphere were all unsatisfactory.... Part way through dinner we heard the older waiter yelling at the younger waiter. This was heard throughout the small restaurantand made us feel uncomfortable. The service was exceptionally slow. Outside of eating we spent over an hour just waiting. Thewaiter was slow to bring out the menu, and when he arrived he came with just a drinks menu. When he returned to take our drinkorders he didn't bring the food menu. He still didn't bring a food menu when he brought our drinks. The amount of time betweentaking our orders, bringing bread, bringing our salad, and bringing our meals was amazingly slow. When the food finally came mycarbonara was lukewarm, and it wasn't that tasty either. I prefer my carbonara to have more than 3 measly morsels of bacon andto have a noticeable amount of cream. Eventually I had to walk up to the counter with my card because the waiter didn't comeback to check on us after we finished eating. Will not be back. The pesto pasta and salad were pretty tasty. A small storefront restaurant with only a few tables. Utterly fantastic food, quite literally the best Italian food I have had... in the United States Plus a nice selection of wine and canned/bottled craft beer. Superb service. The only warning I have is ifit's crowded it will be slower. Read more
