UPDATE: My boyfriend was surprising me for our engagement so the paragraph below in this review is false but now hilarious. The... cake was amazing and the best engagement surprise. Thanks for leaving me with no cake on my birthday. Their birthday cakes aresuper nostalgic for me and the only dessert I wanted. Found out less than 24 hours that they canceled my birthday cake order andwouldn?t let us change it to a different flavor because they needed 48 hours in advance. Would have been nice knowing it wascanceled 48 hours in advance or asked for a backup flavor initially so the flavor could be switched. No solution to a verysimple problem. Today I came in about 230pm & the lady was making waffle cones so I had to wait 2-3 minutes before she came over (without... greeting me at all). I ordered the Caramel Apple Crunch on top w/the Butter Pecan bottom on a small Waffle cone for $6.34 ttl. Iwas given Vanilla instead of Butter Pecan & of course I didn't notice until I finished the first layer of ice cream. I think shewanted more of a tip yet she wasn't very knowledgeable when I asked questions. I feel I deserve a refund. I have been coming foryears (use to be one of my favorite places), even as far back as the previous owners who left right before covid. Just not goodcustomer service. Read more
Very disappointed. We drove 45 minutes to get here after a hot chicken lunch. Walked up to the door at 1:00 p.m. and they are... closed! Says they're short-handed and won't open until 2:00 p.m instead of 11:00 a.m. as stated on their website, Google andtheir front door. Unless you're prepared to sit in your car and wait, you probably better call and make sure they're open beforeyou head over. Read more
We?re not from the area so Bruster?s was new to us. It was overall fantastic. The employee who served us at 4:30 on a Wednesday... was pleasant and helpful in understanding all the flavors and menu. We benefitted from a Wednesday special for $1 off a mediumwaffle cone, three scoops, which we utilized to try three different flavors. The portion was extremely generous, not a givenwith premium ice cream these days. I tried the Nestle Crunch, which was what you would expect if you like NC, and verygood. Mint chocolate chip is my go-to flavor and I?m pretty picky. I prefer the a white/blue peppermint flavor (think Breyer?sor Ben & Jerry?s). But Bruster?s goes with a wintergreen. If you like that flavor, this is for you. I don?t so much. (It?s thedifference between peppomint and wintergreen breath savers). But the last flavor will have me coming back. The Graham CentralStation was absolutely fantastic. Kids ordered a small cup with a huge dinosaur cookie in it. Loved it. Son got a shake andloved it as well.
