Recommended by a colleague, I would stop in for their chicken salad often for lunch. When the opportunity presented itself, I... thought it would be great to support their quaint operation and have them cater a business meeting. Days prior to the event andbefore delivery, the gentlemen who took the order, charged my AMEX corporate card in full without providing a receipt. I usedcaterers all the time, and had not previously had this occur, especially without a contract in place - normally business allow24-48 hours to modify the count in the event of attrition or cancellation. To add insult to injury, for the exorbitant amountcharged, they delivered appetizer sized boxes with extremely modest portions for the C-Suite meeting. I was horrified. Neveragain. Beware. Read more
