A flat white should have a double espresso shot and textured micro foam milk. The flat white I got at this coffee shop was a... fairly weak white coffee with a bit of froth on the top. If you can't make one properly and consistently then don't offer them.That way you avoid disappointed customers. But the gardens were incredible... Read more
Love the coffee shop at Butchart Gardens. The staff are always amazing and welcoming. Very efficient with their service as well.... They have a good variety of treats as well as sandwiches, soup, light bites, etc. The scones are really nice, especially heatedwith butter and jam. The coffee room is bright and airy in summer and cosy and warm in the winter. They have a lovely fireplaceand lots of beautiful decor. I have been here many times and it is always immaculately clean. Casual place to pick up drinks, snacks, lunch or dessert. Indoor seating, restrooms, outdoor seating, etc. Order at the counter... and pick up order. Choose where you want to sit. Sunny, large spot to regroup at Butchart Gardens. No photos of coffee shop,but actually a charming setting. More cafe than cafeteria. No reservations required and very short lines (even on a busy day)with multiple stations for ordering. Read more
