The place has a local, comfortable, family restaurant feel. The wait was long, however, and while the portions were good size,... the food itself was unimpressive, to say the least. Read more
Wife and I have been here a couple of times. Our experience is that this place is overpriced for the quality;/quantity of food.... Service is OK, although the last time we were there, we were the only patrons in the dining room (there were others at thebar), and there was only one waitperson on duty, so if the place had been crowded, the service would have been dreadful. Oh,and the place is in serious need of updating and cleaning. The dining room is absolutely filthy. Read more
Quite simply the best clam chowder in America. 25 year regular, it is consistently excellent. Don?t let word get out.
The food is fantastic. Great old time bar with George, Lu and Marge! The Ford family is the best at making you feel special!!... Love this place...to include the bar, Restaurant and Woodshed. Read more
