We went for dinner this evening to the Mantoloking Road Alehouse. It was our first time returning since Covid. The food was not... good,it was EXCELLENT!!! We started with the potatoes skins. They were done to perfection. The the mussels marinara arrived.Better than most upscale Italian restaurants. The mussels were small and tender and the marinara sauce was outstanding. Myhusband and I split the French Dip. Delisssshious! Our waiter, Evan was upbeat friendly and attentive. The Alehouse was crowded,but the facility is large enough that you didn't feel crowded. There was a mixed crowd which made the experience comfortable. Weasked Evan our waiter if we could see the owner, and he came promptly to our table. You couldn't ask for a more enjoyableevening. I highly recommend you try the Mantoloking Road Alehouse. It will become part of your "go to" list. My compliments toAbel,the Chef.
