I’m ready surprised this place has such high ratings… while the ambiance is great, service decent, and mixed drinks tasty,... their menu, prices, portions, and quality of food is WAYYY off balance. The shrimp appetizer we ordered tasted terrible, and youget 4 flayed shrimp in a lackluster batter for $14. Beyond over priced. Ordered their salmon entree, and it was the thinnest, smallest filet I’ve ever been served at a restaurant, and it was over cooked. It was served with one large BABY potato (I’mnot kidding) and 6-8 green beans. For $32! I don’t mind paying that amount for a good meal, but this meal wasn’t worth over$10-$15. So disappointing… The cheesecake was great but definitely not enough to go back. First time going and I’m sad tosay will not be going back. Read more

Nice, Tuscan inspired decor. I liked that. Very good food but I felt, overpriced for a restaurant that's off the highway in... western NJ. All pasta dishes were north of $20. Come on!; it's only pasta. Still, as a white tablecloth restaurant it's a niceplace for a special occasion. I would go if I lived in the area. We were only passing through. Read more

Who doesn't serve pasta with chicken parm? That's like no fries with a burger. I used to live in the North Arlington/Lyndhurst... area. Amazing Italian community and authentic restaurants. I moved to this area and gave this place a try on the advice ofco-workers. I could not believe the chicken parm was paper thin, roughly $30, and no pasta! Also, your hostess needs to havesome manners. The young guy who got the cake tower was respectful. I was told about this place from co-workers. I'll attend whenthe company is paying, not on my dime. I'll take my business elsewhere. Read more

THE WORST RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. We went to have dinner at Cafe Emilia on 7/15/22. As my husband and I got... there, we were sat in the outdoor area and despite the place not being full at all, it took about 20minutes for the server totake our orders. We actually had to wave so someone would stop by and this white male, in his 50-60s, wearing a shirt that wasnot the same as all other servers (guessing he was shockingly the OWNER), stopped by with a tone of disrespect, laughing at usand saying that if we wanted fast service we should go to a McDonalds. I was entirely shocked with the commentary, not to saythat his attitude towards us was absolutely disrespectful at all times. Maybe he thought we looked different, outsiders, but forsome reason we were not deserving of his respect. Then, after placing our orders, we waited for over 70min and the main wouldnot come out. The server would never stop by to say anything or give any status update - and we tried calling 2 other servers toask about the food and THEY WOULD NOT COME OVER. Our feeling is that they were asked by the white male not to serve us becausewe were just ignored. As a result, after over 1.5h in the restaurant, with the most unpleasant experience we have ever had, wedecided to just leave. We headed inside to pay for our drinks- someone from the restaurant asked us what had happened and weexplained and he did not look surprised at all and just said “that guy again”, which makes me think this is recurring. I amnever going back to this place. And I live 5 minutes away and just moved to the neighborhood so I could have become a loyalcustomer but never in this place. Read more
