We went to Char Burger for lunch today. We ordered two burgers one was a child's both were the same size. They were tough, dried... out, cold hockey pucks, and edible. The burger was cooked well done with incredible amounts of juiciness and thepleasant flavor of char. The bun was fluffy with a rich texture and light sweetness. Set your expectations, this is not char steakhouse. 5 stars looking at it through the lens of someone who has young kids and... they like playgrounds, burgers, fries and ice cream. The playground is priced into the food. Expensive. If you don?t have kidsat the right age to use the playground, this place is more like a 4 or even 3. In other reviews, people expect a burger theywould get at char steakhouse because for some reason the char brand is included in the name of this place, so expectations areoff by people who are seeking out a good burger joint. It should be named ?kids smash burger with playground and ice cream? andthen people would get it and it would get better reviews. The Hot dog, Fries and ice cream were all better than expected. Thekids burger is perfect for a child. My chicken sandwich was bad. My photo would make you believe it was crispy. It was neithercrispy nor spicy. Tenders were pretty bad.
