We discovered Idle Isle cafe a few weeks ago. We have been living in Brigham for 2 years and always go to Ogden for more food... selection. Idle isle has changed that. We come here once a week for a date night dinner. Their menu is somewhat simple, but goodhome cooked food. Their rolls and homemade jam are delicious. Their side salad has romaine lettuce and beets, which I love.Their service is excellent. The owners are so friendly and the servers are all great. Today we went in for dinner in a timecrunch because of an appt I have to make. We let them know we were in a little bit of a hurry and they were so fast. We wereseated, served, and had the check in about 30 minutes. During that time our waiter checked on us atleast 5 times. We hadeverything we needed and great food. 10/10 recommend. Also, reading the history of the restaurant is interesting. There is areason they are the longest running restaurant in Utah without closing. Read more

Idle isle holds a special place in my heart. My first job when I moved to utah in . Food has stay true through the years and... now on its 3rd owner. Ann and Travis , hearts of gold. Today was my first visit since Corinna and her husband took ownership.Corinna immediately greeted me and my family and took extra care of my one year old with custard. Side just honest notes: Iordered the chicken Alfredo, that comes with a soup or salad and asked for a salad with ranch and to pay the extra side 1.50$ for au gratin, which rang up for more In the system, & my salad never arrived. Oh and Also they no longer do the complimentarykids cones. On a positive note, idle isle got a face lift, new highchairs with trays , new kids menus, a more in depth menu andnow are open later & still has that personal touch ???? Read more

We had my Grandmother's 93rd birthday here and they delivered above and beyond! There was 22 of us and they had a private room... for us to enjoy this occasion. The food was delicious and high class. I would highly recommend this restaurant for any event oreven a simple date night. The building has lots of history that takes you back in time. The staff and owners were very pleasantand happy to be there. Our server was Brayden and he was absolutely amazing taking care of all our needs. Grandma had the besttime.
