The experience here was sub par. It took about 15 or so minutes to get seated which was no big deal but then a whole hour went... by and there was no food in sight. We waited another 15 minutes or so after asking for the food to go. I understand they werebusy but we watched the two groups seated just a few minutes before us get their food and come and go. We were also surroundedby dead flies which wasn't very appealing. Our server was great and I recognize the wait was so fault of her own. Read more
The food was over priced, $25 for two kid sized meals. I could taste that it was made with the cheapest ingredients. I ordered... the chopped beef steak and it was like hamburger meat. They could not get the mash potatoes and gravy right. It was a ball ofpotato's with gravy on top. The corn tasted like it was just warmed up out of the can. The onion rings were sweet and with noseasoning. The tomato soup I had was so sweet I had to add a lot of Tabasco and I could still taste the sweetness. 0/10 nevercoming back. So we were in the area for Peach Days. The first restaurant we went to had a 50 minute wait. So I called J & D's. They said... about 25 minute wait. We were sat in about 25 minutes. We looked at the menu while we were waiting so when we were seated weordered right away. The waitress did keep checking on us but after an hour we finally got our food. My food and mymother-in-law's food were cold. My mother-in-law ask to have her food fixed. I ended up eating mine because I was hungry afterwaiting so long. My food had good flavor but some spots were so cold it was hard to eat. When my mother-in-law received her newplate half of her food was still cold. She ended up eating what was warm. She was very very unhappy. My husband and I might bewilling to give them another try. Hi, I am Catherine and we live in Clinton and were in Bear River taking pictures today for Veterans day. On our way back,... spotted this restaurant in Brigham City. This was our first time here and their sign in front said they had Shepard's Pie(special item) which is not on the menu, but absolutely should be. Hubby loves Shepard's pie, he ordered it and I tasted it,delicious is all I can say, and it came with garlic toast & side salad. I ordered the Patty Melt with grilled onions & fries(they have many sides you can choose from), along with a side salad and Sweet Tea, and it was fantastic as well. The servicewas great, young lady was very personable and checked on us. And for a total of $30.09, to us was reasonable. I love familyowned places such as this as it usually means fantastic homemade food and great service. And another bonus, they serve breakfastall day, so we will be back for that too. Read more
