This is a restaurant on the side of the road at the literal entrance to Brisbane. The food quality and flavor really surprised... us. Everything was fresh and delicious. Indoor and patio dining. They have quite the mix from oysters to burgers and soy garlicmushrooms. Go for it! This place is cool. Read more
I was randomly in the Brisbane area and was starving. Looking around for a place to grab a bite and a beer, I luckily found 7... mile. This is my kind of place. It's a friendly, family owned, everyday, hard working bay area people kind of place. When I gotthere it was BUS-Y! Which is generally a good sign but i didn't know if i had the patience to deal with a long wait with how mystomach was talking (yelling) at me. I was greeted and asked to sit at the bar. They had the baseball game on so that was cool.The staff was pretty friendly too so win win so far. I sat down and grabbed a cold drink and checked out the menu. I was reallysurprised because they have some cool Filipino style dishes! I excitedly ordered the Steak Salpicao (I LOVE that). When it cameit did not disappoint. The steak was tender and the sauce had some really nice authentic flavor! It's really easy to over saltFilipino (and many asian dishes) but this was a nice balance of flavor and salt. Perfect amount of fresh Jalapenos on toptoo! Pro Tip: If you ever order Steak Salpicao, you can make it a meal by eating it over rice. I love that but it's also quitefilling and I had stuff to do for the rest of the day.
