The best meal I have ever had and I don't eat a lot of Italian. I just wanted to eat dinner in Tennessee and then walk across... the street to eat dessert in Virginia. But the food was really good. Read more

Seated on the patio was a pleasant day good view. The mozzarella fritter was delicious, only five, but the sauce was good. The... flat pizza arrived, hubby liked it, we also ordered the manicotti and veal marsala came out about 10 mins later. They were quitebusy during lunch hours and all the outside seating filled up. At this point the server should have asked for help as we waiteduntil the end of our meal for refills. The outside seats can only accommodate about 5 per table and inside I did see a tablethat held about 7-8 ladies. I will go back but will order water along with my drink so I?m not parched while dining. The serverwas pleasant enough. The deep dish pizza takes a min of 45 mins and we could not wait that long. I would recommend updating thechairs and tables with more sturdy like something made local. They rock while you eat which would have been nice if there hadbeen a band playing. I picture using tube steel bottom with wood picnic table dining to accommodate large families. Read more

The only reason is 2 star as service was good. We ordered regular pizza and dip dish as well as veal and pasta. Pizza dough most... likely was precooked and frozen and all stuff on top didn't hold to it. I've never had worst pizza. Frozen pizza taste better. It's hard to screw up pasta but they did. Don't know how they have so many good reviews. If you feel like Italian food youbetter of going to Walmart and getting frozen stuff Read more

The Tavern style pizza is on a level of its own. The deep dish is good, sure, but the tavern style is great, what with its lacy... edges, crust-pervasive cheese (a horde of it) and cracker crust consistency. The fried mozzarella isn?t listed on the menu, butit is easily the best appetizer. You should avoid the calamari (got it twice ? it is rubbery). The meatballs are good but areusually served lukewarm; same as the toasted ravioli. Tara is by far and away the best server. She was hustling and bustlingwhile never missing a beat! All with a smile on her face, refilling our drinks and treating us fantastically. The cannolis areexceptional as well. Read more
