The Red Jug Pub is a good place to hangout with some friends and have some good tasting drinks. My friends and I came on Tuesday... trivia night and it was fun. There were about 30-40 people in the bar so it wasn?t super crowded (since the college semesterhasn?t started). They have pool and darts and a jukebox called TouchTunes. You can add a song by putting cash into the machineor by downloading the app and paying it that way. WOW. I went in to have a beer with my brother and was truly surprised. Just minutes from Brockport College, it has plenty of... parking and an outdoor seating area WITH heat. This place is VERY clean. Literally nothing out of place. I got there just asthey opened , roughly 1pm) and they got busy fast. The service was quick the entire time and the staff seems to know 99% oftheir customers. It feels like you're family. The staff made a great recommendation ( Hamburg blueberry and peach hard cider)which I enjoyed. Their knowledge and friendliness made a mark. I will be back. Read more
First of all the bartenders and staff there is absolutely incredible! We?ve been there for the past 2 months or so every Tuesday... for trivia and have never had an issue. However, today we went and our friend; who is over 25, the oldest of our group, andwho?s been multiple times with us, was denied entry because her ID ?felt? fake. I totally get how security can be a bit strictespecially being close to a college but her ID scanned multiple times and is exactly the same as ours. The ?security guard? wasincredibly rude and we had to get the manager to prove that it was a legit form of NYS ID. It totally threw us off consideringwe?ve been there for weeks straight. Security needs to learn how NYD ID?s can look a bit different if they?re older than theyare (I.e. maybe 24). Overall would definitely recommend this place but make sure to bring multiple forms of identification ifyou look young. Read more

I am a veteran with a verified service dog. I?m am very understanding of business not allowing dogs. The employees here were... very welcoming to me bringing her in. I was there to watch the bills game and she was never a problem for the 3 hours we werethere. All the sudden the short, balding, rolly-polly looking owner comes in absolutely screaming in my face. Before I had timeto react the bartender told him about her paperwork and my veteran status, to which drunkenly screamed ?I DONT GIVE A F$@& abouthis service or his dog they need to leave right now!!!?
