Its 1am on a dark and foggy fall night when your electric car start alerting you that it's running out of juice, and fast! You... won't make it home, let alone to the next supercharge station. Frantically your friends try to find the nearest level 2 charger.At last; one is but 2 kilometers off-route. You take the exit. "Where even are we?" You think. "Will we even make it home beforesunrise?" You find the charger and hook up, but at least an hour will pass before you have the charge to make it home. The crispwinter air starts to nip at your exposed, shivering hands. "Why didn't I pack a winter jacket and gloves?" You think toyourself. You're going to freeze out here unless.. "what's that?" - in the distance you spot a few lights... the EdgarHyperlodge. Like a mirage it calls to you with promises of warmth, local craft beer and uneven dance floors. You and yourfriends make your way over to the pub, feeling warmer already. When you open the door you're greeted with a friendly bouncer andreasonably amplified beats. You look at your friends with a sort of "we have no other options" kind of face and grab a cold onefrom the uninterested bartender. With your instruments on your backs you squeeze your way through the sweaty crowd and find arelatively clean table in the far reaches of the rave den to settle in for a game of cards you'll not soon forget. This place offers burgers in a western sports bar setting. With a heated outdoor terrace, a sports fan has it all here. I would... recommend this place to French patrons, as the server did not understand a word of English. Some reviews state that their serverwas bilingual; however, that was not the case with our visit. I guess it?s a real hit or miss! Great atmosphere, good food and beer, reasonably priced.
I will open with the fact that we arrived as a party of 13 last minute. Front of the house was very accommodating. We only... realized once we got there (being first time visitors) that any reservation above 10 people puts you on the group menu. Whichmeans far less options due to the fact that they want to make sure we all get to eat at the same time. Sadly the kitchen failedmiserably on this task. 6 people got served and the rest watched them eat for over 10 minutes! Our server was excellent andsympathetic to our situation. I spoke with the manger who was very kind and helpful. She helped get the food on the table and asa peace offering, gave all the kids Mr.Freezies at the end. The food we were forced to choose from on the group menu was verygood but most of us had our heart set on other menu items we couldn't have. If ever I return, I'll make sure we all reserveseparately so that we have access to the entire menu. I would've rated at 4 stars otherwise but creating a group menu and thennot delivering all the food on time is a big fail in my book. Kitchen had a bad night I guess... Read more

Very loud in here! Can't hold a conversation. Great food tho oh my God!!! Braised beef was the best iv ever had and I love my... fine dining. Above and beyond. One BIG DOWNER was no choice of name brand beer what so ever. I do not wish to experiment withlocal/craft beers I would have loved to have the choice of a regular name brand. Read more
