My 110% honest review.. I went there recently on a Wednesday (kids eat free). Next time your server brings empty appetizer... plates BEFORE the appetizers reach you --> Take a nice hard and closer look at how clean the plates are (sarcasm)... I put oneup to the light and I saw a LOT swiped rag and water marks on the dingy @@$ plate. Food was subpar. Not great at all.. Applebeesat Hunts Point Market area is better..My main concern was the fact that that all the plates they served our food on looked theway they did..smdh..I could have walked out and left the food. Ate it though because it was pretty late in the evening and wewere all starving..Again food was subpar but the plates though.. Shame on that Applebees restaurant..Not kidding.. Look at theunused appetizer plates before you eat and I kid you not --->Nasty.. Not hatin' Just Statin'...DO BETTER...I took my familythere and I used the guest water and napkins to redo what the actual dishwasher should've been doing....My compliments to thedishwashing staff and whomever oversees that line of work there...smdfh...Applebees THROGGS NECK IN THE BX- DO BETTER..I wontEVER go there again...EVER .. Seats are broken, drinks had thick black like substance in them. Tables wasn't clean, ceiling leaking. I wouldn't recommend this... location!. Just cause it's in the Bronx it doesn't mean it shouldn't be kept well. Read more
1. The hostess sat us at a visibly dirty table. Sticky tabletop, straw wrappers and crumbs in the booth seat. We asked our... server if we could move. Upon moving, the table next to us requested for their table and booth to be wiped clean as well. 2.After ordering, our salad and appetizer arrived to the table BEFORE our beverages and the silverware necessary to eat. When thesilverware arrived, it was WET. We waited for our server to return to ask for napkins but after 10 minutes passed, I got themmyself on a stand nearby. 3. The other table to our left remained dirty our entire dining experience. 4. We were never offeredrefills. The cup that contained iced water had gum stuck to the inside and didn?t realize til after done drinking it.Disgusting. 5. Ordered the sizzling blondie only for it to come without the pecans. Another 5 minute wait for something that isincluded with the dessert. 6. Never asked for the check but it was brought without a simple ?how was everything? Could I get youanything else?? 7. There is no sense of structure or urgency. 8. This is our neighborhood Applebee?s that we dine often but thisvisit has ruined Applebees as a whole for us. We will not be returning. Read more

For the past 15 years Applebees has been my husband and I Go-to date night every week place of choice. I?ve decided to make this... review to hopefully have the Coorporate department take some immediate action. (The staff here is suffering, exhausted andoverworked!) The bartender has been alone with a full bar, people have walked out without paying, the most descent crowds waitpatiently, yet annoyed at how long they must wait to pay. They can clearly see the poor lady is exhausted and drained withoutany help. The waiters are literally running to try to attend everyone waiting to be seated and already seated & ordering at thesame time. Only One bus boy and he is red as a tomato from rushing as best as he can. I am personally a bussiness administratorand its my observation that Applebees is exploiting their employees. Every time we come is a different face, instead of seeing afamiliar one. This is unacceptable!!! I will be taking videos next time and going live on social media. This is my neighborhoodand these young people need help! The food is always amazing but even the dishes are coming out dirty! Never before had weexperienced something like this.
