I wanted to get beer from this spot for a party I was hosting. After sending an email, I heard back from Paul and we were... texting back and forth in the days leading up to the event. He was in constant communication with me, very responsive, andgiving me great recommendations of options. When I went to pick up the beer, Paul was extremely kind, offered me a drink whileI waited, and then he helped me haul all the beer to my car. I haven't even drank anything yet but I was so incredibly pleasedwith the service and I absolutely will make an effort to come back here and recommend it to everyone. The place is cool, atmosphere, events and music. However, the beers are completely overpriced. First off, don't ever expect to... get a full pint from here. You'll get an over priced 12 oz plastic cup. Happy hour is barely a happy hour. When I was there itwas 5 dollar pilsners and 8 dollar pale ales for happy hour, in 12 oz cups. It also gets completely disorganized at times duringevents where they have no system for serving beer. Also another thing, I've been skipped by the owner who told the bartender tostop pouring my beer and serve these random two women he was either trying to be flirty with or something. I am from the Bronx, love the Bronx, and I am all about supporting local Bronx business. I love the Bronx Beer Hall. Yet I am so... disappointed to have to over pay for a 12oz beer. I always ask bar tender for a full pint (16oz). And then I get this plasticcup that is 4oz LESS than a pint. Yet I am paying the price for a pint. And that's simply unfair! And this tends to happen atlarge events, so I understand that plastic cups are more efficient, but give me a full pint! Please! Or adjust prices so I'm notoverpaying for less than pint. Read more
Issa vibe. With great craft beers on tap, an anything goes crowd and unpretentious atmosphere, this is most likely to become a... staple in Little Italy. Saturday nights are just as unassuming.
