My uncle and I visited this restaurant for a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon. The atmosphere, specifically outside seating area... is very scenic and has great views! The only part that was quite unexpected was the very long line and wait time. We waited inline to order our food for about 45 minutes! Once we finally got to order, we received our food quickly but the wait time wasridiculous. We ordered the fried lobster tails with shrimp and fries. We both enjoyed our meals. It could have used a littlemore seasoning but it was good. I would have given it 4 stars but it gets 3 stars because of the ridiculous long wait time toorder. Read more
Quiet on a Tuesday afternoon. They have very affordable prices on the menu. The customer service behind the counter could be... better. One of staff was kind of rude. As far as the food, they give you 2 big pieces of Whiting. I don't think they fillet itthough because it was way to much bones in it for me. The fried Shrimp were crispy, and seasoned well. Honestly I come here only because it holds so many memories of my childhood, but I've had better seafood outside of City Island.... Don't get me wrong it's convenient for late night seafood runs. I've had way better though. Plus my fried lobster tails weren'tfully fried. I was excited that the service was so fast but BOOM! Either way, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Yuck. Fry oil needs to be changed. Calamari was greasy and orange. Red snapper tasted good but is served whole which is off... putting. Soggy fries. To top it off, the lines are long, the ground is filled with trash and a bottle of water is $3 Read more
