This is my second time here. I initially came in on a promotion they had to get a free breakfast sandwich. It was ok. This time... I came for lunch and received good service. I ordered chicken wings with a Honey bourbon sauce and a fried chicken sandwich. Onpaper both looked delicious. The presentation of the food was great but I couldn?t even taste the JJ?s sauce which soundedamazing on the sandwich and the batter was burnt so it took away from the flavors of the bun,bacon,and other toppings this had.The wings were fries way too hard and the wet sauce I got was more of a glaze than anything. It looked like they took a shot ofbourbon and some honey and cooked it down until it was this thin loose liquid and it all settled on the bottom of my tray. Iasked for honey bbq sauce on the side and it tasted like regular bbq sauce but mixed in with ketchup. I know the base for bbq isketchup but it really tasted like they took some bbq sauce and put a dollop of ketchup in, then mixed it together. The mini golfwas real fun though. Would I go here again? Ya I?d give it another shot and try a burger next time and ask to not get the wingsfried hard like they were. Aside from the food the atmosphere, owner, and staff were very friendly and attentive. 2nd time stoping in the first was on a breakfast run I had a ham and cheese omelette with toast and sausage. It was great the... only thing is they don?t have home fries but no big deal. 2nd time the wife and I for lunch we shared the Burger special withchili and jalapeños great sandwich chili was off the hook. We also had Maple bacon wings and Buffaque wings medium Man theseare some big wings cooked just right nice and crispy,flavors were wonderful. Can?t wait to come back to try some of the otherflavors. We love the Americana roadside vibe and is a perfect place for us on our motorcycle trips up into Connecticut highlyrecommend stopping in the owner and staff a really great people and very accommodating. Small indoor eating area and super casual. It was a beautiful day so we ate outside. Service was friendly and the food was... tasty. Especially the dry rub wings! We also played mini golf (about $5.50 per person I believe) The course is small but has 21holes. There were some obstructions on the course (lights that protrude in the middle of the green and spiky plants that make itdifficult to set up your put on certain holes) but we were with little kids that took it in stride. A miserable experience overall. We visited at 1/1:30pm on Sunday 6/12 for lunch. First, we were told that they were all out of... fries. When our food arrived, one of the ?chicken fingers? (they?re not fingers, which was disappointing for the kids) basketswas over cooked and had visible hair within the breading of the chicken. The other basket was also completely over cooked, thechicken was dry and several of the tater tots were essentially just the outer fry (the inside had been vaporized). We waited atotal of about 40-45 minutes for those two to be replaced for two very hungry, cranky kids. When they did arrive, they haddecided to cook them a different way, and the tots were again so far over cooked as compared to the batch our third childreceived with his burger (his meal was good), they were inedible. They both went completely uneaten, and we prepared to leavewith two crying kids. When we mentioned it to the wait staff, they were prompt in addressing, though not apologetic (one serveractually laughed). We spent about 90 minutes in total at the place, and had to drive to a pizzeria down the street for twoslices so the kids didn?t go hungry on an afternoon of errands. Very disappointing as we had heard such good things. Wedefinitely won?t be back on a Sunday (benefit of the doubt, maybe just an off day?), but with several other great kid-friendlyplaces in the area, it?s unlikely we?ll head back at all. Read more

Amazing owner. Amazing food. Always something for everybody. Goes above and beyond for the town and support of small local... businesses. I myself own a barbershop. I bring my 5-year-old to JJ's stacks and he loves it. Being able to play mini golf andthrow bean bags and just look at the big fish in the pond while eating a burger and fries is priceless. And then once in a whilea movie night drive-in movie night is great. Music entertainment love it!. Read more
