Visiting from California and met a friend here. The restaurant came highly recommended. First, we HAD to eat in the bar. No... other seating option on this particular day at 5:00. We waited quite awhile to be helped. Only one gal working in this entirearea. Overall, the service was great. Our server was very pleasant in spite of working alone. Two of us ordered the BrisketCombo. The meat was dry, burnt & some bites were hard. My husband loved the baked beans. Maybe just a bad night, but we werevery disappointed with our Brisket meal. Loved this place, they serve really good food. But can say with our experience tonight I wish I could give them 0 stars. We got... seated and waited over an hour for our food!! while my baby was crying because of how hungry he was. And to also getting toldour ticket got skipped after over 30 minutes of waiting. We ended up getting up & leaving. Read more

Service was great! Food was OK at best. Wife and I both had 2 meat combos giving us the opportunity to try several offerings.... The ribs and baked beans were delicious! The rest of the food was less than desirable. May have been better if our food wasactually hot instead of luke warm. Was expecting better. Won't be returning..... Read more

First time eating here. Was hungry for BBQ so stopped in. Fast friendly staff and service. Wife had ribs I ordered brisket. Both... were as good as anything we've had in Texas. BBQ baked beans were outstanding also. Under $40 before tax and tip can't bebeaten! If looking for great BBQ, give them a try. You won't be disappointed. Read more

Decided after looking at the menu online, to take the wife and kid out for a nice dinner. Really, I wanted to try the Prime Rib,... but at $34..gotta try it once. Thinking at $34 this piece of meat would be enough to feed small village. I see the server walkout with our food, as I gaze at the sheer size of the plate which held the $34 prime rib, I felt like my kids on Christmas morn, the server places this $34 prime rib in front of of me, my eyes wide and mouth open, my wife said when she watched my reactionshe saw the same look that all 3 kids give us when they ask if we can take a family vacation. See, a few months ago I asked thekids where they wanted to go on vacation they suggested flying first class to Hawaii, just imagine the look on their face whenI tell them I had something much more exciting planned, we will drive to Brookings SD on move in day. The look of utterdisappointment in their eyes and I am sure they are plotting revenge now. Anyways this $34 Prime rib came out looking like itwas cooked yesterday and plopped in the microwave, I looked at the menu again and saw this $34 prime rib was supposedly 16 Oz,which is a bit steep in price. I don't know if it was 16Oz prior to cooking where the meat is soaked in water, frozen solid andthen weighed. Any meal you pay $34 for shouldn't leave anyone hungry. After dropping $90 for 3 people to eat, ill tell ya, ifyou love prime rib like I love prime rib and think for a $34 prime rib your socks will be knocked off, ill tell ya, your sockswill be up to your knees. Save your $34. The Cesar salad was good, the water was refreshing. My wife liked the ribs, She alsohad a margarita and told me to have a taste. Man o man, not only was the rim salted but the margarita tasted like they havefigured out a way to salt the entire inside of the glass. Really wished it was as good as the menu looked. Read more
