Favorite restaurant in all of New York. I fell in love with Frankie’s back when they had a location in WV and now make the... trip out to Brooklyn on a monthly basis because I can’t live without it. Their sausage cavatelli is stuff of dreams. Theircaesar salad is perfect. The wine list is 45+ pages of awesomeness. And their prices super reasonable especially given thequality of their product. Some of the best service and food you can ask for. My husband is celiac / gluten free and the waiter was incredibly personable... and walked us through everything. We were suppose to have dinner at Frankie’s but found ourselves in the area early and theywelcomed us for a late lunch instead. Sadly, they didn’t have their GF pasta that day but we picked all items that were glutenfree and the waiter broke it up into 3 courses for us — so it felt like we were experiencing a true Italian meal (just allgluten free). We left full and happy! There is something so homey about the inside and it makes you want to stay and enjoyanother glass of wine (and Negroni) with whomever you’re dining with. When we lived in the city, this was our absolute FAVORITE restaurant. After moving up to the Hudson Valley, we decided to have a... date day to spend in this area of Brooklyn and made reservations at Frankie's. Now that’s Italian! This is Court St Brooklyn. You will have the best meal you’ve ever had before. Their menu is perfectly... sized not one thing on it i wouldn’t order. Its close eating so be prepared to hop in or out of a conversation with others.They have a very cool Secluded back yard court area for more eating room when its nice out. The place was packed and the staff were slammed, but we were seated within a few minutes of arriving for our reservation. Our... table was in the backyard and it was beautiful. I ordered the gnocchi and followed it up with the prunes while my girlfriend andanother friend ordered the meatballs. The food was amazing and everyone loved it.
