Went with my Armenian friend, who was incredibly impressed by its authenticity. Having tried his mom?s cooking, I can confirm the food here is indeed legit. Such a great hole in the wall gem in coney. Very reasonable prices as well.

We got two kinds of khachapuri, baked fish, salad, everything was amazing. They prepare to order so call ahead, especially for the khachapuri which can take 25 minutes. Also keep in mind that there is NO dining in here. Definitely coming back.

Finally - Armenian restaurant in Brooklyn! How many years we've been waiting for that! Food is so tasty, stuff is attentive and polite. I wish they would have some kind of awnings outside so they will be more visible from the street. I noticed them only because of the huge Armenian flag in the corner window. The area is full of Pakistani and Mexican stores so Armenian restaurant is an unexpected discovery. Anyway - this is a true gem and great addition to the multicultural neighborhood. Being Armenian I guess I am prejudiced, but I don?t mind driving for an hour sometimes just so I can get their homemade food, it?s very authentic and it tastes like ?home?. The owner is a very welcoming lady and she does her best to keep her customers happy. It?s a great value for the price. One very happy and loyal costumer.
