Amazing Guatemalan food! Loved it here! Great ambience & atmosphere. Beautiful interior decor with so much color and life. ... Place is tight though. Inside and outside dining available. Loved the cardamom cocoa, but wasn't a fan of the iced chai. Gotone of the most recommended soups. The soup/stew was devine! The green eggs sandwich was delicious! Got hungry walking through the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, went to Google to get to a good sit-down eatery, found this. What a... treat! The reviews are spot on- the Pepian was superb, but the Jocon was amazing and stole the show. The hot chocolate was justthe right balance is sweetness. The lavender hot chocolate was a nice twist to the old recipe. We finished with a round ofrosemary churros - perfect ending! Read more

Ix is the best Guatemalan food I?ve ever tasted outside of Guate (and my family?s cooking). The paches are flavorful with a... wonderful texture and served with slices of white bread (that?s how we eat them at my house). Definitely order the chuchitos ifyou?re looking for a denser tamalito to eat with crema (their spin on it with horseradish is beyond tasty). Even theirsandwiches served with toasted pumpkin seeds are delicious. You won?t regret it. The vibes here are immaculate with lovelydecor, really fun live music, and excellent service. Make sure to end your meal with a cafecito (I had a cappuccino that wasdelicious even unsweetened) and a rellenito. I love it here and can?t wait to go back the next time I visit New York! Read more
