I wanted to try another Indian restaurant in my neighborhood. It was the worst Indian food I've ever had. The Chana Shaag tasted... burnt and the samosa was inedible. I am surprised a restaurant in Brooklyn can serve such terrible food and stay open. I will goback to my other spot. Read more

If I want a vegetarian meal I order Indian. But Indian food is never spicy enough around these parts (read: all of America.)... Thankfully, I found Kanan today. I ordered a little of everything: Tandoori Vegetables, Radha Patties, Aloo Saag and LentilSoup. I heartily recommend the Radha Patties: fried potato cakes with yogurt, chickpeas in a tamarind chutney. So tasty. Imeasure the quality of a good Indian place by the Saag (spinach) and this place makes one that is perfect in texture and spice.Absolutely delicious. Read more
We all ordered takeout for delivery. I ordered the Takeout Delivery Special which comes with a choice of appetizer and entree... for $17.99. The Chicken Samosas were really good and savory. The Chicken Tikka Masala was very delicious! World do takeout fromhere again. Read more

Found this place by chance but it’s my new neighborhood go to! The food was delicious- I especially recommend the bindi masala... (okra). The prices are great, too. And the people that work there are lovely! They have free delivery! Delivery companies takea huge cut of their profits, so please try and order directly if you can. Their “website” is also a fake set up by adelivery company trying to make money off of them. Read more
