Nice wine selection and service. But food portions are comically small. Go for wine, not for dinner. $28 gnocchi came with 9... individual pieces of gnocchi and 3 small pieces of winter squash. LaLou is a cute little restaurant in Crown Heights, with a nice ambiance and cute bar area. They are focused on natural wines... and small dishes for accompanying them. I did get a glass of wine, but I was, as usual, more interested in the food, which wasthe bast part of the experience. The standout were the olives, that came seasoned with some interesting spices and the curedmackerel, with an abundance of flavor in the sauces and the fish was just melting in the mouth. An overall nice experience,hopefully I will return someday! Read more
