To start weird staff and not so welcoming. I ordered Lamb Tikka masala, the sauce tasted like a tomato sauce laced with honey!.... Further don't even get me started on the meat. It was like chewing on a thick piece of car tire!! I wouldn't recommend thisplace at all save your money!!! Read more
Ordered butter chicken, garlic naan and cauli manchurian. The cauli was 10/10 really good and flavorful. The butter chicken,... 8/10,was pretty oily and in a VERY SMALL container to be charged $15 for. The garlic naan was 6/10, it wasn’t fluffy. Prettyregular and flat. I went to London Tandoori last Saturday night, just before they were closing, so it was just my daughter and me in the small,... well lit, clean restaurant. It was my favorite atmosphere for an Indian restaurant, because it was so AUTHENTIC. We orderedseveral dishes which arrived in the traditional stainless steel which keeps the food very hot. Each dish was so incrediblydelicious!!! I can honestly say I don’t think I’ve ever had such good Indian food in America. I have been to India severaltimes and I have had good Indian food in London and this was still maybe the best Indian food I’ve ever had. They served alentil dish that I can’t remember the name of it it starts with a T, but it is a lentil dish which I think I’ve only had onetime before and it’s my favorite. We also had a dish with paneer and all of the flavors were so distinctive and so fresh. Themango lassi is divine and so is the rice pudding they so generously gave to us for dessert. I am looking forward to going toBrooklyn again mainly to return to London Tandoori restaurant! My daughter goes there regularly and wanted to share theexperience and we both really enjoyed it!! The pick up was quick but the staff was so agitated. He was sitting on a chair playing his phone. I checked if the pick up order... was ready after 5 minutes of waiting and the staff blamed me for checking orders on the pick up table and responded with a veryagitated tone " I WILL BING IT IF IT'S READY!!!" It was very unnecessary. He's not suit for front desk or customer service work.He should be replaced. Read more
