So glad we tried this place. They were the only Thai place open past 10:30pm. For apps, we got the purple dumplings which were... great, and the calamari salad which was also soo good. The calamari was cooked to perfection, not rubbery. The Pad Se Ew wasdelish. And the Vegan Japanese Eggplant was also very good, you can tell the ingredients are fresh. Will definitely be back!! The decor and ambiance was bar none...just look at the pics! The bathroom faucet was the coolest repurposed claw foot bath... tub...and the replica Buddha and lantern added that extra flair...now for the food... the appetizers were great...calamari wasdeelish, chicken satay well flavored, the shrimp roll was good. I found the chicken dumplings dry and a bit rubbery. Theentrées were a mixed bag...the fried rice was lacking sufficient seasoning...that je ne sais quoi that would put it over theedge...I had the tamarind duck and the leftovers tasted better the day after...the fish was well fried but again lackingsufficient seasoning...the steamed veggies and eggplant were desperately lacking salt...all in all this was a decent Thai spotin the heart of Williamsburg... Great food, great interior! The Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodle) lunch special is highly recommended. The rice noodles are one of... the highest quality I’ve had around the area. Joyfully chewy, and cooked flavorfully. I didn’t have a chance to dine-in.But, during my short visit, the interior design is unique and definitely has its own vibe. Read more
