To be honest for the price, I expected WAY less!! Will definitely come back next time i visit brooklyn. Beautiful fish and... presentation, pleasant ambiance, free sake at dinner and quite frankly the quality was well above average. I guess that’smotivation to tip well! ;) Thank u ichiban! Read more

We used to order sushi from this spot a lot. It was decent sushi, nothing fancy but taste good. We decided to go there tonight... and it was one of the worst dine out experiences I ever had. The fish was only borderline fresh enough to be served as sushi andthe service was bad (one of the servers essentially forced the plastic bag into my husband’s hands when we ask for a takeoutcontainer). Really glad we ordered sake because we wouldn’t have been able to swallow the sushi without washing out the badtaste in our mouths with alcohol. Do not recommend their sushi to anyone. Read more

I've been here twice in the last week. I got the veggie Ramen and the spicy salmon fried rice. Both were great. I was very... happy with the portion size. They have a small outdoor dining area in the back, which is a nice alternative to eating out onManhattan Avenue. My friends got sushi and said it was good :) Read more

Displeased with this place. There was a lot of people that seemed like they worked there while it took a long time before... getting served, took a long time to get my food, and the waiter never stopped by our table to make sure we were good. The foodwas 7/10. I ordered hibachi chicken, it's not what I expected, maybe the hibachi I had before this one was simply different. Mywife said the sashimi was good, but she wanted another type of sauce but the waiter never stopped by. This place needs to focusmore on customers, the food is already OK and worth coming back for, but not the service. I kept seeing people going to thebasement and the waiter going to the basement too. Don't know what the deal is, but if they have another clandestine type ofbusiness downstairs, they need another waiter. Waiters have to at least check on customers once. This one was too busy going tothe basement. The hibachi was good tho, it was lots of food for the price, which I forgot. Like around 15. The miso was allgood. The food was good like I said, but that service man..... Read more
