We ordered a really delicious zucchini eggplant large pizza - 36 inch long pizzas are no joke, three people minimum. The pasta... was tasty too, the sauce fresh and the salad was also. Read more
We had an absolutely wonderful meal at Savelli. The pappardelle with bolognese was delicious— definitely add the ricotta on... top! It’s a huge portion and it reheated great the next day. The meatballs were yummy as well, but as a starter the calamaristole the show. The glaze on them was sweet and spicy and I kept going back for more. The bread was perhaps my favorite thing;perfectly chewy and everything you want in a bread. It doesn’t need an oil or anything, just as it comes. It made me want totry their pizza next time… which will be soon! The back “patio” is actually enclosed so you can feel like you’re in agarden while enjoying the air conditioning, great during these hot summer days and nights. Saw this place while walking down Smith St. In Brooklyn And can't believe I hadn't gone there sooner. I LOVE this place. Went... there 4 times in 2 weeks and ordered the same thing every damn time. Their fresh bread as you get seated is to die for. Thesetting is so beautiful and I would happily celebrate any occasion here. The pizza is loaded with fresh ingredients and the starof the show...the ravioli. Ooooof. The taste made me picture the moment in #ratatouille when the food critic had one taste andhe pictured his childhood. Now I didn't have a pasta like this as a child but this made me pause and savor each bite. Besttruffle ravioli I have ever had. Period.
