This place is consistently delicious. I've been a number of times and tried many items off the menu and can't say I've had... anything that wasn't excellent. The egg + cheese boat is always a big hit with a group, but my favorite is the hot beans servedin a crock pot. The salad with crushed walnut is also a must have. Read more
If you want Georgian food then you found your fix in the heart of the city.
I don?t know what happened to this place - I used to go there and the food was delicious. Ordered the food on Uber Eats and it?s... inedible- lamb kebab is dry and Mtsvadi has such a strong smell of lamb, chunks of fat are swimming in the liquid, no spices,tasteless, disgusting..They didn?t even put walnuts in the Traditional salad, also description says ?walnuts?. A quiet, generous and hustle-free restaurant. The cuisine is genuinely Georgian with a wide range of dishes to pick from the... menu (in English, Georgian and Russian). Granted, you need to be into lamb, if you truly want to appreciate the Georgiancuisine. One other aspect I really appreciated is not being continuously checked on by the waiting staff or implicitly hustledto vacate the table for the next guests, particularly around the dinner time.
