New experience of Yemen street food. Rated #1 in Brooklyn. Not ordinary and quite tasty. Most delicious black Yemen tea I have... ever tried. Important addition, friend of mine left her Dior sunglasses at the table, returned in 4 hours and waiter gave themback to her. Says a lot about enterprise and Yemen people. I doubt it can be returned somewhere else Read more

Beautiful food. Perfectly cooked. Timely service. Great indoor/outdoor seating areas. Best god I've had on this most recent NY... visit. My younger cousin brought me here as it's somewhere he and my uncle come at least once a month for the lamb haneeth. Westarted off with the marag soup and if you're off a South Asian background you would know this as yakhni. Proper home made typethat your mother would make you in the winter if you were ill. If I lived in NY on a cold day I'd get this every day if I waspassing by. We then had the lamb liver that was absolutely delicious. I don't normally eat lamb liver. I will again from herehowever if I'm ever back again. The naan was perfect too. The lamb haneeth is their most popular dish for a reason. How do theycook it just so right? Literally the only time I've genuinely had lamb that really did just melt in your mouth. It was a verygenerous portion so had to pace myself because there was no way I was going to leave without finishing this. Also havefacilities to wash your hands up near the tills. Great place, cannot recommend enough of you're looking for great halal food inthe area Read more

Everything about this place exudes authenticity. Everything from the food, the employees, the tables, the plates/bowls, and even... the cups used to serve water, are genuinely authentic and give off an Arab Yemeni vibe.. 9/10 for authenticity They start offevery table with Lamb Broth soup and a large Yemeni-style pita bread. The broth gets a 7/10 for flavor and 7/10 for presentation(rating is based on how it?s authentically presented). Fahsah (a root vegetable stew combined with shredded lamb) gets a 7/10for flavor and 8/10 for presentation (again, authentic presentation). It?s served in a hot clay bowl on top of a metal plate. The food comes out literally boiling. Order this if it?s your first time here ! Lamb Chops get a 6/10 for flavor and 6/10presentation. They were good. Be sure to try the Yemeni style tea that is self-serve. And if you want to spend an extra $40-$60you can buy authentic imported Yemeni honey. Overall 3 stars Read more
