Very good experience. It was late in afternoon and we were leaving Dewberry farms hungry after cutting down a couple of... Christmas trees so I goggled places near me. Called, placed my order and pleasantly surprised they still had baked goods aswell as natural drinks. My 5 year old grandson loved the cashew juice and devoured a Pupusa before we hit I-10. Love this little ?hole in the wall? restaurant and bakery. The workers are always so nice! I highly recommend the caldo de res... (beef soup) and that pupusa de calabacita (squash pupusa). If you?ve never had a pupusa, imagine a quesadilla made from a corntortilla instead of flour, but the filling is inside the tortilla instead of between two tortillas. It?s full of cheesy goodnessand so delicious! They give you curtido for free to eat with your pupusa, which is sort of like coleslaw but way moredelicious. All their sweet breads are good, but I usually go for the bread pudding slice or the cheese empanada. Whether you?relocal or just passing through, you should try this place out! Read more
