What a lovely hidden gem!! My husband and I split the lobster cakes appetizer, lobster augratin, halibut wellington dinners and... cheesecake for dessert. Everything was excellent. Our server was perfectly attentive. Definitely will return! Our party orderedscallops, raw oysters, short ribs, coq au vin, creme bullee, tiramisu. Everyone was delighted with their meals. Read more
We just came home from our best dinner out ever! We had lobster bisque, halibut Wellington, lobster au gratin, and raspberry... cheesecake. The food was far above anything we?ve had out in a very, very long time. The chef is simply superb! The rest of thestaff was also great, and we can?t recommend this place more. This is a very special restaurant with great food and attentive staff. Chef offers a well rounded menu, exquisitely prepared. We... had halibut au papiot (sp) and crab mousse. We didn?t have a reservation but the hostess was very kind and seated us at a beautiful little table outdoors. The service was... good and the food came out quickly. We ordered a great bottle of wine, which was actually very reasonably priced and to oursurprise a whole liter!! We had an incredible baked Brie with blueberry jam!! Wooow. The steak was buttery smooth and deliciousas well. The pasta was alright - nothing to write home about. Then, for dessert we had the flourless chocolate cake which wasabsolutely delicious but they drizzled it with what was probably Hershey?s syrup on top which I had to work around because in myopinion ruined the much more complex and delicious taste of the cake.
