Loved it. Hadn't visited an A&W in many years. The root beer float was fantastic and my friends had no complaints about the... food. The service was quick and orderly. Can?t be bothered to complete DoorDash orders, or answer the phone when they ignore orders.
Overall the place is what you expect - mediocre food that's been overpriced. But last night was the last time I ever decide to... grab some late night cheese curds or a gut-wrenching hotdog.. Drove 12 hours home last night. Pulled up to the drive thru,deadbeat exhausted, ordered a coney dog + cheese curds. Was informed they are out of chili, not running the frier, and hadalready cleaned the grill so I wasn't offered a hamburger either. I asked what they did have available, was told all they hadwas chicken tenders. Let's see - your frier has been off , and you've been cleaning it to leave early. I'm sure this chicken is45 minutes old, crusty, and I'm basically being offered the burnt ends of something that's going to be donated or thrown away inabout 15 minutes when you run out of the building like children on spring break.
