Twelve oaks is a really nice restaurant in a quaint old building. It has a great menu with some delicious classics like a... French Dip and some interesting choices like white pizza grilled cheese. It's a little pricey but not outrageous by any means. A perfect spot for a special occasion, drinks or just a really tasty meal with nice atmosphere. Read more
Quaint and fun. Had music downstairs but an awesome amount of character and decorations upstairs. The food was awesome and they... had plenty of alcohol to keep us feeling great. Everyone felt like family here. Lots of history and life has happened withinthose walls. Always ask about the specials! Read more
I live up the road from here and actually have not dined in but order take-out often - probably 4 or 5 times now. The staff is... friendly and helpful regardless. Listen: this one of is the nicest restaurants in the area and we're lucky enough that it's inBrownsville. It is incredible. For the high quality ingredients and preparation, the prices are fantastic. My family's favoriteis the fish sandwich and soups. I live for the tuna tartar salad. It's the best. I have trouble ordering anything else becauseit's my favorite. I've had the wings and they're really great, too. I look forward to having an actual dinner there soon. Onlysuggestion I have: If this is a southern restaurant it needs a buttermilk fried chicken dish on the menu. Also, make freshbiscuits for guests - not rolls. I love southern dining so I think everyone should check this place out. Read more
We had a small family event here and the food and service was just amazing!! We had the garlic herb chicken, baked ziti and it... was beyond delicious!! On the side was the absolute best mashed potatoes and gravy I have ever had!! Beautiful dining area, anda very cozy bar downstairs. It's out of the way but so worth the time to find it!! Read more
