We stopped by for first Fridays and had their buffet box. It was excellent. Everything was good: chicken, fish, rice, cabbage,... plantain. It was so yummy. I wasn't really impressed and neither were my friends. We had high hopes after waiting for a good minute for our food. My rice... lacked the peas I was longing for and the rice was very clumpy...my 2 stars is for the cabbage. The two star that I gave was simply because the customer service was great and the portion size was big. As a Jamaican, the food... was disappointing. I ordered jerk pork with rice and peas with cabbage and let me tell you, what I got was not that. If you arelooking for AUTHENTIC YARDIE food abort all mission to go to this place. It's sad, but they are not the only Jamaican restaurantthat have watered down our traditional food. Please remember that what brings others to loving our food and culture is that weare JAMAICANS anything else is just unacceptable. We ordered 2 jerk chicken quesadillas with rice and beans and cabbage. The rice had like 4 beans in it and neither the rice or... cabbage had seasoning. Rice mushy. The quesadillas were decent. Definitely NOT One Jamaican in the building . Oh and the guythat answered the phone was lovely but when I called the second time to find the location (because the building says island jerknot Ms.Bs) the LADY that answered was short and a little rude .
