I love this place dearly so this is disappointing to desire to write. We had a large party who drove an hour to enjoy the... wonderful aesthetic and food. But to say the food was ?wonderful? this time around would be entirely too generous. Majority ofeveryone?s food was cold, raw burgers, and overall everything seemed severely over-salted. The drinks were phenomenal, the saladone guest had was good, the cheese curds were good. But at $20 a meal, you?d assume it should at least be warm and cookedthrough. One guest took his meal to the bar, after two bites, and simply asked to have it taken off the bill.. didn?t want itheated or remade- because it was raw inside. A little time goes by and our server is bringing out a freshly cooked meal to him, which was refused. A misunderstanding surely. Although our server was very nice? she forgot about two of our guests, twoseparate times when taking orders, simply passed over them- twice, then had to adjust three out of four bills because of itemsthat were wrong. Was overall just a very disappointing experience. That said, I do still recommend people to visit this uniqueestablishment and I also intend to come back again and hopefully have the amazing experiences that I?ve had before with theservice and food. Curated perfectly to create a unique vibe. Call ahead and reserve a private dining experience for you and your friends. The food... was amazing and the fries were perfect. Definitely try all their beers but the strawberry shortcake seltzer was our favorite!Tasted like strawberry pop rocks!Brianna was an exceptional server and tour guide! Before you leave try their Brother IsacCabernet Sauvignon wine or take some Togo. Their spirits were also pretty impressive. This is a hidden gem in the middle ofnowhere, but worth the detour. There's also an Airbnb attached if you drink too much to drive or want go rent a place for youand your friends to crash. Overall great experience! Read more

Inside an old church with obscure artifacts? CHECK! Excellent craft beers? You betcha! A bed and breakfast with a shared parlor... room with a piano, organ and various old time pictures? Yessir! Couldn't be complete with a cool lil court yard with variousflowers, antiques, stone walls, and fruit bearing trees? Well yes. Father John's was a really fun experience. My significantother and I did the bed and breakfast (about 135 with tax), had dinner, dessert, and drinks. We explored the many hidden littlerooms. I played the piano and even the pedal powered organ in the parlor. The food was hit or miss, and I think this is wherethe mark up in price occurs to pay for the upkeep of such a wondrous place. Luckily the beers are extremely well priced and theylet you do free samples. For food, the pretzel was good (cheese sauce was quite rich) as were the steak tips, although I'd avoidthe cheese curds (fishy); burger was well done when we asked for pink. Next time it'll be better I'm sure. The store managerTrinity was extremely helpful and even gave us a peak into the restricted section that they are building up an ESCAPE ROOM.Excited to try that. Also the Bartender, I can't recall the name but was friendly and helped us pick some good drinks. OverallI loved it.
