The sushi and ramen combo was well-presented. I didn’t feel like I was in Philly for a moment. Practically, everyone was so... nice and calm during my visit. It was an amazing experience. When I was finished and walked out with elegance, I witnessed anoticeably asymmetrical female snort up mucus and spit it on the tire at the passenger side of someone’s jeep and walk awaylike a Tyrannosaurus Rex in high heels. I told her she got problems after I named her an ignorant witch and walked a bit lessthan a 90° angle from her line of direction. She looked back while walking her way and began rambling to herself as follow-upafter snapping her neck back. She was clueless it was me. It was like she was just born to be bothered by life to the extent ofdisrespecting anything that has anything to do with it. The thing is, since I had a pleasant experience at this restaurant, Iwaited for the owner of the jeep to let whoever know what had happened and offer to clean it off. This did happen. She was sothankful because I had my handy baby wipes and bottle of sanitizer. She may have done a ritual of some sort to be assured thatthe female who did such a thing would be sent to the netherworld, but I awkwardly already know. Read more
My oh my, Veekoo is just the best, no doubt about it! I have been to all 3 locations and this new location in Bryn Mawr is not... only gorgeous, but brings the same high-quality cuisine + service that has become a claim to fame for its predecessors inRoyersford and Berwyn. The Li family curates fabulous spaces for people to connect and enjoy superb food + drink. If you are inthe Philadelphia area or live anywhere on the main line, I would certainly suggest taking a stop at Veekoo (+ trying the freshoysters) for a lovely lunch or dinner! :) Read more
The Main Line was lacking a dine-in sushi place with great vibe to take friends to, so I was excited to try out Veekoo.The menu... is sushi focused, but has a few kitchen dishes for those who doesn't like sushi. We enjoyed the rock shrimp, homemade pork panfried dumplings and East Coast oysters for appetizers. We ordered a few specialty rolls to share and we loved everything! Myfriend also ordered the Sashimi Deluxe and said the fish tasted very fresh. Forgot to take pics of everything else so only gotthe dessert. Great interior ambience with a nice outdoor patio.
