This is a brilliant family owned establishment. Extremely warm people serving extremely good food. First time trying Moroccan... food. Excellent garlic hummus and pita. The harira soup was also so delicious and hearty. And their meat platters are wonderful.Lamb chops cooked to perfection. Chicken kebab platter also wonderfully done. They are usually quite busy, so expect wait timesif you arrive without a reservation. So call ahead! Wonderful conversation and we loved the fact that since dinner is a socialactivity among Moroccans, they usually bring out all your food in a single revolving platter. Great desserts as well, don’tforget their baklava! Read more

What a fabulous experience! Food was perfectly cooked, came out hot and tasted delicious. Mohammad made my birthday dinner very... special, treated my friend and I like king and queen of the restaurant. He had traditional Moroccan music playing and we evengot up at one point to do some belly dancing. Read more

WHERE TO START?! My friend and I went to a dance social up the street on Lancaster Ave, our first time in Ardmore. We left at... 230am and were FAMISHED. We thought for sure everything local would be closed, and we’re fully prepared to go back to Phillyand get some subpar midnight snack, but my friend took a chance and did a Google search…imagine our surprise when it saidWhite House was open. So we took a chance and drove 10 mins to the place, fully expecting them to be closed or getting ready toclose at least…. We get there, and it’s OPEN. Zach and another gentleman was manning the place. My friend and I didn’twant to be THOSE people and make them work at that time of night, but they welcomed us in and prepared a table for us. Wefigured it’d be a limited menu, but they told us to order whatever we wanted. We ordered the lamb kabobs & saffron rice, againnot expecting anything extravagant. These guys brought out an ENTIRE FEAST!! We were NOT expecting to eat this good at 3am, butman were we glad we found this place! Of course we INHALED it, and topped it off with a baklava for dessert. I can NOT sing thepraises of this place enough, the service is top notch, the food is INCREDIBLE. I WILL be coming all the way from East MountAiry to this place again, definitely worth it!! As musicians, we are always hunting for late-night dinner options, post-concert. White House Tajine was the only place... open–and Moroccan food sounded great–so why not? We walk in, and at first, we believe the restaurant to be closed–nobodyis there, and the tables and chairs are stacked up or pushed to the sides of the room. Then, we meet Muhammad, who informs usthat only certain dishes can be prepared on such short notice. Equal parts intrigued and skeptical about the quirky experienceso far, we sit down and order. As our meal was prepared, Muhammad informed us that everything is organic and made from scratch, and that his family *is* the staff–so it would take a little while, but the quality would be worth it. And let me tell you,he was right! The Moroccan Mezze–including eggplant, baba ganoush, spicy carrots, tabbouleh, and hummus–was to die for.Every appetizer was better than the next, and easily the best version of each dish I'd ever eaten. Clearly, Muhammad was notkidding about quality. Every bite, fresh and flavorful. The chicken kabobs were grilled to perfection, and the beef tajine–anew dish to me–was packed with flavor, unique, and of the highest quality. As we finished the meal, Muhammad told us that itwas too late to prepare the baklava (of course, also made from scratch), but to come back, because it is *the best.* I don'tdoubt it for one second. If you are looking for a quirky, authentic experience, and a truly exceptional meal, look no further. We cannot wait to return! Read more
