Saw that this place got great reviews on a travel group I?m in so we stopped in yesterday when we were in Bucyrus. I was so disappointed. First we walked in and we weren?t sure if we were supposed to order at the counter, wait to be seated or seat ourselves. Waited a couple minutes then asked a lady who was standing along the wall. She said she didn?t know as she had never been there and was getting food to go. Saw a menu so stood looking at it for a couple minutes. Still not greeted or sure what to do so we seated ourselves. Seats on the booth were a bit dirty and very uncomfortable. Sat looking at a menu and a lady came and delivered food in a bag to another table. Never greeted us and walked away. My sister went back to the counter and ordered. Never asked her name. She came back and sat down. About 10-15 minutes a lady came and plopped a paper bag on our table. Again never said a word except maybe ?here you go.? She was gone so fast. My sister got a gyro. She said it was OK but preferred the gyros from a place local to us. I got the small Greek nachos. It was packed in a tiny to go styrofoam container. I could not even see the chips or even get to them unless I wanted to dump everything out but I wasn?t given a plate to do so. So I had to eat pretty much all the toppings before I could get to the chips. The feta and tzatziki sauce was good. There were only 3 kalamata olives and the tomatoes were huge slices which would be better if they were diced. I ended up not eating them as I was just given a plastic fork and no knife to cut the tomatoes. The meat tasted good but overall I was so disappointed. If they are going to serve everything as a to go order, then the nachos should be packaged in a larger container so that it is easier to eat the way nachos should be and not eaten with a fork. Maybe if they ever go back to pre-Covid ways and serve food on plates, I may consider giving them another try.
Amazing food. We tried there potato barrels which are like a loaded potato fried. An absolute if you stop in to try it. Come in for dine in or grab it to get home.
Very good food, and super friendly staff. Would recommend to anyone. Going to be a go to for my wife and I.
Impeccable inspection history. Great food. And Chris is as honest as they come. Not many owners will call you an A-Hole to your face. Chris will. You can't buy this kind of of honesty. 11/10 would recommend. One time I was in there there he got a bad review. He slapped.the employee with a spatula and put her face in the fryer. Dinner and a show for $9.99
I bring all my friends here. Best Greek around. Quaint atmosphere, clean and friendly. Best fries in Bucyrus. If you eat...do it Greek! Here's a tip...order your fries extra crispy...
They have great gyros. Fries were also crispy and fresh. Really tasty and flavorful with the sauce. All staff were polite and customer service was great. Will definitely stop by again.
Their fries are crispy and tender. Meat quality is perfect and customer service is really satisfactory. They also have takeout option which is great. I had a really good experience so I will recommend them to others as well.
This is an awesome small town place to go! I have lived in the area for a couple years now and have always seen it but never been! I highly recommend it. The food and service is outstanding. The gyros are wonderful and the kalamata dip is delicious! I honestly don't think you could order anything bad here!
