We waited an hour for our food. I ask what happened and for 10 min everyone was trying to figure it out. Turn out my order was... not printed in there system. They did this to me and 5 other customers. Instead of putting our orders in they continued to makefood for everyone else but us. Until I make a big deal about it. It ruined our day. It took a total of 1hour and 45 min to getour food and it didn?t even taste that great. The assistant manager was rude. We had to get the manager out there to correct theproblem. This particular restaurant is in the Knotts Berry Farm park, and is tucked away in the back. At first glance, the restaurant... seemed inviting and a nice place to sit down to eat. After going inside, that was not true to life. The restaurant is an orderand pay first model, then you find your seat and wait for the food to be brought to you. After sitting down at a booth, we gotup and went to get our beverages from the fountain machine which had no ice in the two that were there. The tables were hadsticky spots all over them, there was water on the floor with no sign visible, and the employees were not friendly. It's a chain, but I really liked the authenticity of the decor. Considering I usually just see them at the malls, it actually... felt like a 50s style diner inside with a very large seating area. On a hot day, the air conditioning really helped too! Thatsaid, the chicken tenders were more like large chicken nuggets and the cheese fries were okay(shoestring fries with mostlymelted cheese unintentionally mixed with chunks of shredded cheese). My granddaughter and I went to Johnny rockets yesterday while we were in Knotts berry farm. It took quite a while to get our... food, and they weren?t that busy. It seems like the employees were goofing around behind the counter way too much! When Ifinally got my chicken fingers and french fries, the chicken fingers were cold, the french fries were hot. Chicken fingerswould?ve tasted good had they been warm. I also ordered a chocolate shake, it was incredibly yummy! I just got the Knottsberry farm platinum pass. This was the WORST experience ever!!!! We had a group of 5. 2 kids, 3 adults on a Thursday (very minimal crowd) almost no one... inside. It took over an hour for the food to come to our table. Once it arrived we were missing two meals and a side order. Thewaiter asked if we had everything and we replied no and listed what we were missing. Another 10 min later he brought one mealand one side. Still missing one persons whole meal. We reminded them about the missing hamburger. Another 15 min go by and STILLno hamburger!! By this time the whole table had almost finished their food. I got up to again ask where the meal was and onceagain told its coming. 5 min later I finally gave up and went to the front to ask for a refund.(for only the one hamburger....not the entire $90 bill) She said yes of course just as the manager brought the hamburger out. I said i would still like arefund, because the whole table had finished by now and they would have to wait on me on. The manager said she would give me arefund (for only the missing hamburger) but she was taking the hamburger back!! Are you kidding?!?! I waited for almost 35 minsafter the first meal was SET on the table and to get a refund she took the hamburger!!! I was so over waiting and i wasn't goingto make my daughters wait any longer. All the manager said was wow thats a bummer and that shouldnt have happened. She actuallyasked me if i was just upset that the food didnt come out all together.....I didnt know how to even answer that! Uh duh ofcourse...They didnt offer to make things right and only to give the refund for the one hamburger to take the food back?? Theyshould have offered to refund the whole bill after all this!!! ABSOLUTELY ridiculous!!!!! Worst experience!! Never eat there!Stupidly high prices to only be treated like trash after we showed grace and kindness in waiting for as long as we could.
