I've very disappointed in the food I ordered for my granddaughters birthday. I ordered 30 pieces chicken dinners. And it was... tasteless and some wasn't cooked all the way. When I called to tell them they had me take a picture of the uncooked chicken andI did and no response. So few days later I got in the mail a 25.00 dollar gift card. I spent 400 dollars on the food. I cannot believe this BBQ place is rated as high as it is, it was simply bad. I had the half chicken two sides and a small side... of their brisket to give it a try. Let?s start with the overall, not sure how they do it but they manage to get zero wood smellor taste into their meats. The brisket was tender, but had zero smoke ring on it or bark, it was a grey mass of meat. I feelbad for the poor cow that gave its life to make this abomination what what this place calls BBQ. Two day old pot roast warmedup in a microwave is better than what I had. Now on to the chicken. It had a nice char on it but again no smell or taste thatwould give you the impression it interacted with wood. I saw on the menu they charge extra for white meat. I did not do thatand I am very thankful of that choice. It took a 16 oz bottle of water to get the breast down. It was so dried out I am prettysure it was shelf stable. For sides I got the coleslaw and veg of the day. Coleslaw was average and the corn was very starchyand had zero flavor. The only bright spot was their BBQ sauce. It was the only thing that had any smoke flavor. It was nottoo sweet and nice. I would actually purchase it. Nice job on the sauce, your stars are based on it.
