The servers here are SO RUDE !! I ordered lunch steak hibachi - it was wrong & NASTY, didn?t eat it sent it back the lady still... tried to charge me for it bc she SAID ?if you order it you pay for it like at any restaurant? why would i pay for something thatwas WRONG & NASTY & DIDNT eat & SENT back ? I had a great chef when I went at lunch on a Tuesday. He did everything perfectly and it was so delicious. Thank you chef!!! And... thank you for the lady that let us go to hibachi at 2:00:01!!! We were in and out in a flash. I then sent my pregnant daughterfor dinner raving about it being better than Kani house and now she will never believe me. She got there around 7 and after theyfinished all their starters no cook. Finally another couple arrived and still nothing until after they finished their starters.The cook shows up and puts everything on the grill at the same time. Everyone?s items rice veggies steak everything all at once.He burned the rice and food and the food was just not good at all. Around 845 they had to ask another server for the check. Whenthe server came to give them the check she walked past my daughter and gave the folks who came in later their check then walkedback to my daughter for hers. She was so miserable and sad thinking she?d enjoy a nice quick dinner after a long work day at 8months pregnant but instead had a horrible experience. :( Read more
Wait staff was innattentive. Menu had spelling errors. Had to ask several times for refills and get our own silverware and to go... boxes. Chef was less than impressive. Was told if two people wanted to share a meal it would be an extra $9 almost the price ofanother meal. Also they automatically charge an extra 18% gratuity. If it wasn?t my sons birthday I would have just left seeingthat bright red on the cover of the menu. Read more
Ordered in for our favorite fried rice. I get it and go home, only to find that it is so overcooked and mushy that it is... practically rice pudding. I then spend 20 minutes driving back, along with the gas, to have them fix it as they agreed to overthe phone. I sit and wait for 20 more minutes. I tried the food before leaving, only to find that it was the exact same qualityof overcooked mush. I asked for my money back because it was not fixed as was promised, only to be denied because the chefs hadalready remade it. Doesn't count if they remade it poorly. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if they had just reheated the samerice and put it in new containers. I commend the lady at the front for trying to help me, but if you'd rather give a long-timecustomer subpar food and an unsatisfactory experience, then you're not really doing an amazing job. We came to Shogun and we had a terrible experience. We wanted to try different sushi and asked for a mix of sushi, 2 of each.... There was some form of miscommunication where our Server Kay brought out and tried to charge us for 2 of each order. Which is$14 each. The bill came upto $160 just for that. Why would 4 people eat that much sushi and we had fried rice which we ended upcanceling because it was taking so long and she was trying to charge us for what we didn't ask. Instead of taking it back sheargued and didn't accept her mistake and lack of explanation. Maybe it was a language barrier but she kept running around whiletaking our order cutting us off or not letting us finish explaining what we wanted. We ended up paying half because she keptcomplaining about how she woukd have to pay for it. On top of that we could hear her complaining nonstop to the people in theback. The 1 star was only because the sushi was good but we waited so long due to the kitchen being backed up and it entirelyruined our experience. The lack of professionalism is insane.
