My sister invited us to join her for her birthday here , the drive was a little over an hour from our house. The drive was worth... it . Prime rib was the special of the night , and it was melt in your mouth special and perfectly cooked . My wife had BlackenSalmon , which was also very good. Supper Club environment, small salad bar . No reservations on Saturday, we got there early, 9of us and was seated right away . Service and food Great , in a small town that you would never guess that this place was there.I just found out over the weekend, that it might be closed . Please call first before you go. Read more

I have heard from friends (and in reading reviews) SOOO many great things about this place! I decided to take my boyfriend here... for a special birthday celebration this past Saturday. Unfortunately, as excited as we were to check it out, we were equallydisappointed to drive 30 mins only to find a handwritten note on the door that said they are closed ?until November due to lackof staff?. I thoroughly read through their website a couple days before we went and was very impressed at the history of thisplace and eager to try what sounds like a delicious menu! Hours of operation were listed - not only on their website - but alsostill actively showing OPEN on Google. I?m not saying we won?t try again at a later date, I?m just disappointed that no onethought it important enough to update their google hours or post something to their website letting people know they arecurrently closed everyday. And when in November are they opening? No specific date was given on the door note. This placesurvived WWI and WWII and Prohibition and the dairy strike and so much more and their website boasts that ?tough times havenever closed the doors?. But short staffing did. What a shame. Third generation diner- I had dinner with my Aunt (whose a local) earlier this evening. This was one of the best meals I?ve ever... had! Jeff and his mom Kathy were great! The ribeye was absolutely perfect and the apple pie was delicious. I wish I livedcloser, such a great, affordable meal. Support local restaurants so we can keep gems like this around. Read more

Was pretty good. Went there for ribs or chops, but they were out. The chicken I got was prettygood. The grouper and crab cakes... my wife and her dad ate were also good. Didn't expect the salad bar, it was great as well. The staff were very nice. The placewas smaller than we anticipated. Read more
