I went to Buvette with my husband for our anniversary and it was nothing short of spectacular! Starting with the ambience, with... the navy hues and accents of gold, Buvette gives off a fancier and intimate feel with not too much crowding and well spaced outtables. The music was every millennials dream with upbeat familiar tunes and if you don?t take advantage of the patio, you willstill have that outdoorsy feel with the large skylight on the main floor.\n\nThe cocktails were delicious and beautifullycrafted and I had a hard time figuring out just which one to have! As a starter, we got the burratta which was very well made;firmer on the outside with a creamy centre. Paired with cherry tomatoes, arugula, peaches , balsamic dressing and some bread, wecompletely polished that off!\n\nFor dinner I had the butternut squash ravioli which had a delicious sweet but nutty flavour andthe portion was perfect! My husband had the branzino which was very well seared and tasted amazing with the risotto. We also gotthe caeser salad which had a little too much dressing and a little less prosciutto for my liking, but between the hint of garlicand the buttery croutons, there wasn?t much to complain about. For dessert we got the cheesecake which was unbelievablyfluffy!\n\nAs for the service, I cannot say enough amazing things. The place was packed and our server was attentive to us theentire time. They provided us with great recommendations and our food came out at a perfectly reasonable time (especially giventhe quality and detail that goes into each plate). I would recommend this place to anyone looking for something a little fancierin the Burlington area that has a fun atmosphere and impeccable food/wine and service! Read more

Hello hungry world.\nWhere do I begin? I am actually still sitting at the table. First and foremost the food rating is a 4 or a... 5. The drink rating is a 4 or a 5... so where does the 3 come from? The servers. Not just the service. The servers. I can\'tseem to keep my drink full, my plate ordered or a bathroom found. Heaven forbid I\'d like to walk ack to my tableunhindered.... I must say that the one fella with a short beard. Working the top floor, he was a professional. On the patio...my lord you think I was begging them to stay within a budget. We ordered more food and drinks than anyone outside, nearly $400after tip for 2 people. However, the silver foxes certainly get preferred treatment around here my beautiful lady and I seemedto be translucent.\n\nAnyways, the ambiance is quite nice. The music is modern and a little retro but good all in all. The decoris nice. Sheek modern. The food os quite simple and delicious. For food lovers I would suggest it. For restaurant critics, begentle on them. I think they are still learning the etiquette requirements that go along with food if this quality.\n\nI willreturn for another date night between business trips and hope to have a different experience. This new restaurant in downtown Burlington should definitely be next on your list! The service, food and atmosphere are all... amazing. Some of our favourite dishes so far are the beef carpaccio, burratta, beet salad, branzino and butternut squashravioli. Their cocktails are just as delicious with a huge variety to select from all named after local neighbouring businessesin Village Square! We can\'t wait to go back! Read more
