Plenty of food. Lots of variety. Not 100% sold on eating with your hands but gloves were provided. Great service.
We tried Mikaela's kitchen this week for lunch. It's off the beaten path but well worth the drive. The Leehon Kawali was good (although I have nothing to compare it too, first time for fried pork belly), but was good and crispy and had great dipping sauce. The Miki Bihon was delicious! Great flavour, peppery, lots of veg and chicken and a huge portion. So far it's at least 3 meals for me. We will be going back to try some different items. Very much recommend ?
I just bought the pork , is okay expensive but fill up the container and meat not lots of sauce.
All the dishes were very very tasteful. Lots of flavour cooked to perfection. Hospitality was excellent. This is a very small restaurant it wouldn't hurt to call ahead. I do recommend it.
This unassuming place is nestled in a residential area near a school. This family restaurant is in a small plaza and is one of a kind. Food is all home made (you can see the dad in the kitchen cutting meat and one of the children are running around), so your guaranteed to get a taste of the Philippines. The palobok noodles were good. Pretty intense shrimp flavors and a decent portion relative to the price. The BBQ skewers were ok. Meat was a bit though.
The food is so excellent!! It?s very real and traditional/ancient food!! We?ll come back again for the best Filipino food in town. I highly recommend you to go there. ??????
I had a wonderful time here! The staff are so friendly and the food is super authentic. I'm so glad they are so close to Hamilton! If you're ever looking to have a Boodle Feast, this is the place to go. You eat with your hands, so it's 10x more fun! Make sure you place your order 3 days in advance, you won't regret anything. And it's only $25/person!
Great pork barbecue, pork sisig (appetizer using pork belly and pig cheek) and other great native dishes to the Philippines. Parking is good enough for a small restaurant in Burlingon. Their choice to make it counter order is something they're planning to modify as sit down is more appropriate for the cuisine and ambience of the place. The cafeteria set up of the dishes reminds me of the ones you're bound to see in mall or outlet food courts, which isn't compatible. Friendly chef and owners. Great service always
