Although Turtle Jack's is my favourite place to have chicken wings, I will NEVER go back to this location again. The only... reason I gave this place two stars, instead of one, is because of the food. We waited an uncomfortable amount of time to beseated, even though two greeters were looking at us while nobody was in front of us. We were told to wait. Fine. Then we weretold that they had no booths available so we sat at a high top table. Fine. It took almost 10 minutes for a server toacknowledge us. We ordered wings and beer. The beer, literally, just made it to our table before the wings did. I canunderstand if the restaurant were busy or the keg needed to be changed......I get that. The proper thing to do, in my opinion, would have been to inform your guests of delays. Finally, we were never visited during our meal to see if everything wasalright or to check if we needed anything else. Again, I LOVE Turtle Jack's food. But, the difference between this Mapleviewlocation and the Upper James or Upper Centennial locations in Hamilton, is like night and day. Practically like two differentrestaurants when it comes to service. Read more

Great experience! Split a main course (burger and fries) and they brought it out pre sliced and plated on 2 plates. Made us feel... very special and comfortable for sharing a meal. The truffle dip for the fries was so good too! Read more

When it comes to this location, gone are the days where you get what you pay for. I decided to stop eating at this location for... almost a year due to the poor food quality, service and inconsistencies. Today I was in the area and decided to give themanother chance. I was told on the phone that my food would be ready in an hour. I came to the restaurant 20 minutes earlier thenthe estimated time I was given. my order was already sitting on the counter. The staff was standing around and did not attend tome for about 6 minutes or so. I knew the food was already cold, regardless I drove 15 kilometers home. When I opened my food itwas the wrong order even though the receipt stated the correct order on it. In my opinion this restaurant does not show anypride in their services and product. They have no problem charging an arm and a leg for food that is barely edible. There is arestaurant next door called Earls. They are consistent, they value their customers and stand proud behind their service. If youhave to choose, skip Turtle Jacks and Eat at Earls. There's a reason why turtle jacks is empty on a Saturday while Earls thriveswith happy customers and full Tables. Thanks for reading. Read more

Turtle Jack's was a great restaurant to stop for cocktails and late lunch after a day of shopping. The service was incredible,... Heather was an amazing waitress and helped us with some great menu selections. Drinks and food were pricey however the servicewas well worth it. Read more

Upon arrival we were greeted by the lovely hostess. We were a group of 6 with two children. They said it’ll be about 30 min... for a table which was no unreasonable but that they could put two tables together or be seated at two booths. ALL options weregreat. All of a sudden a man comes out (I can only assume it was the manager he didn’t introduce himself ) and then basicallypointed to the high tables and said “well this is your only option” He saw that we had two kids and that one would need ahighchair. Anyways hostess seated us at a table and we sat. Server took our drink order and no word of a lie she didn’t comeback to take our food order for about 20min. After serving the drinks she left. Came back and brought appetizer plates andleft. We flagged her down to take our order but the food took so long to arrive. On top of that my order was incorrect and Iwould not send it back cause I waited long enough for the initial meal. Plus my mother in laws meals had yet to arrive and herswas just chicken fingers and fries. I will say that the food was DELICIOUS and that would be the only positive thing about thislocation. But service was terrible. We weren’t offered water or refills for our drinks. My dad only received a refill on hisbeer cause he kept flagging the server. Busy and understaffed - we totally understand but don’t make your customers feel likea burden. It was 4pm in the afternoon. Server should have been more attentive to us. I’m disappointed with the service at thislocation. Read more
