The service was fast and friendly! The variety of burgers has something for everyone and the ability to choose from 1/2 or 1/4... lb patty makes you fearless to avoid waste. Had burgers and fries. Both were good but burger had an aftertaste which to me tasted like a slight soy taste. Steak fries were... expensive for the amount given and cheese is included with them but that shouldn't affect the price. Prices were average but hadto order food at the bar. Great homely "pub and grub" type. Great prices on huge half pound burgers. Its a hands off approach, you order from the bar,... even if seated at a table. There are no "servers". Food...appetizers and all...were given to our table within 5 minutes. If youwant your burger a certain way, make sure u mention it. It is the only thing i noticed was inconsistent cooking. All hand madeand made to order, but some were pink and some werent. But flavor was there, I had the nacho burger (cheese sauce andjalepeños) and my girls had the jam burger (bacon jam with gouda cheese) it was all delicious. My wife had the parmesan friesand me and my teenager shared a large cheese fry. Worth every penny. Dont come here and whine that you dont get waited hand andfoot and its not gordon ramsey making the food. Its a small town in wisconsin...this is the best it gets. Soak it all in. Enjoythe food. This place always hits the spot! Buttered and toasty buns on the burger are amazing. I love the homemade chips and I was... pleasantly surprised with the amount of chips they gave me. Love the wood interior, and friendly service, with hot food. Myfavorite burger so far has been the jam burger. Onion marmalade? Very good idea! Read more
