Ramen Gaoh was alright. Service was mediocre, but as long as the food holds up, then I don't really pay may attention to... customer service. Unfortunately the food was also mediocre. I tried the scorpion ramen where you can choose your spice andnumbing level. I understand the spice indicator, but never had to select my numbness level for a RAMEN joint. That was a badsign right there. I got level 2 for spice and numbness. I think it's the szechuan peppercorns that cause the numbing effect.Ramen is Japanese and szechuan is from China. There was also bokchoy in the ramen. Its like using spaghetti noodles inramen...its just not ramen at this point. All 4 of us ordered different ramen and they were all okay. Nothing to write homeabout. I didn't finish the pork in mine because it was tough. If you want good, authentic ramen, then I would recommend Hakkakudown the street. We tried Ramen Gaoh because Hakkaku was sold out of their broth (a good sign) and closed earlier. If you wantChinese-inspired ramen, then give Ramen Gaoh a try. Read more

Went there with my friend because it?s high ratings on Google maps. The Karaage is fine, but the ramen we ordered is too salty.... We have to pour a full glass of water to dilute the soup in order to eat. However, we still felt thirsty afterwards. Not surewhat happened with the soup that day. We had the signature ramen. Won?t recommend to my friend. Read more

The original tonkotsu ramen with thin noodles was the highlight of the meal; the broth was flavourful and the noodles were well... matched. The tsukumen ramen was good, but the thicker noodles didn?t seem to be coated with enough of the soup/absorb as much ofthe soup as I was hoping with dipping. The chicken was delicious and crispy, but I would probably pass on the mini curry don asit was good, but nothing too special. Solid food overall, and would come back for another tonkotsu ramen in the future! Read more

We ordered the scorpion and spicy miso ramen. If you like spice and Szechwan the scorpion was pretty good, level 3 spice was... fine but level 3 numbing was too much for me. The flavour was very good. My friend thought it tasted too tomatoe-y although ididnt think so. Read more

Good experience overall. I stopped here when it wasn't very busy and ordered the black garlic ramen. The broth was rich, the... noodles had good bite to it. I particularly enjoyed the soft boiled egg, but the other toppings were nothing to write homeabout. The price was decent, but when I ordered the side of spicy garlic paste, I was not advised that it would cost extra. Therestaurant and bathroom are clean. I would come back but wouldn't order the side of spicy garlic paste again. Read more
