I had good soup, mu husband had a great sandwich special
I?ve worked in the food industry before and I know it?s stressful, but that does not excuse the type of behavior I experienced... today. Brian, an older employee with a white goatee, had quite the problem with me. I was so surprised to be snapped at by astranger and chastised for answering their questions about my order. He rolled his eyes then snapped at me for correcting himwhen getting my order wrong. Then he asked how my day was going and rolled his eyes when I politely responded and asked him thesame. He even repeated my order back correctly and proceeded to make a completely different sandwich. He still got the orderwrong but correcting it was not worth tempting his ill temper. He was perfectly respectful and kind to the customer after me,but I can only assume it was because he was a man. I witnessed him treat another female customer similar to me. It was obviousthat other customers were uncomfortable with his behavior towards me, as the gentleman behind me in line even remarked on how hespoke to me. I understand that we all have bad days, and maybe that?s what this was, but no one should be treated like that fortrying to order a sandwich. There was a female employee working at the same time, and she was very kind and helpful I reallyappreciated how sweet she was after receiving the brunt of Brian?s attitude. Read more
Wow what a condescending and rude employee, an older man with a white goatee named Brian. He lashed out at my wife and said... ?ready when you are? He asked for her order and when she proceeded to give it, he had an outburst and chastised her for givingit to him, saying that he has ten other orders and can only do one at a time. He asked her for the order??? Even anothercustomer remarked to my wife about how rude he was to her. I feel sorry for his female coworker who honestly seemed intimidatedby his anger. He treated some male customers with respect and a positive attitude, but not my wife and her female friend. Ican?t help but assume that if I was inside at the time and not outside with our dog, that he?d have been much kinder. He got myorder and our friends order wrong, but we?re too worried that?s he?d lose his temper again to correct it. She?s allergic to porkso she paid for a meal and didn?t get to eat it. What a terrible experience. We arrived at 7:15 & were told they were open until 8, despite the chairs being up on all tables... except for one occupied table. As each new customer pulled in, the girl (dark hair, pigtails) who was getting our food sighed &tried to make eye contact with a smaller, quieter gal who seemed to be newer. We sat at the open table once they left. Afterserving a couple more parties, the girl began sweeping the hall & dining area, almost brushing over my foot, which I moved justin time. At around 7:30, a woman walked in & the same rude girl threw her broom passed the counter, clearly annoyed anothercustomer was in. Said customer asked for chili & was directed to Subway. As we went to leave at 7:40, the same girl had justremoved all the nozzles from the soda machine. I asked about a refill & she told me I couldn?t get one. I was annoyed & sheshortly told me they were in process of closing down the lobby when we came in, so we left with no refills. Apparently, the girllocked the doors behind us bc right after, a woman tried to enter to order, but the door was locked. At 7:45. Absolutelyridiculous! Read more
