Great menu and amazing sunset view. Best fried flounder I?ve had in decades. The staff stayed past business hours to accommodate... us and a few other reservations. Heidi provided excellent service. Read more
7/28/22 Enjoyed a marvelous seafood meal here after a visit to the Hatteras Light House. We decided to give it a try after... reading numerous good Google reviews. We had no wait time but we were early on a Thursday 5:30 p.m. we called and they weren'ttaking reservations. Restaurant was busy but staff were quick to seat us and take our drink orders. We had a table by a windowwith a beautiful view ocean view. The front entry had steps to climb and additional steps to the dining room area but ourserver assured me they had a handicap access as well. Restroom was clean and nicely decorated but only one person at a time. Weenjoyed a Buxton Breeze cocktail and a Hatteras Rum Runner from the bar while we waited on Jalapeno Poppers as an appetizer. Ourentree's were a Crab Stuffed Flounder Filet with a dijon cream sauce, broccoli and rice pilaf, and a Fried Seafood Platter ofcrab cake, flounder, shrimp and oysters with mashed Yukon Gold potatoes and coleslaw. Nice place to have dinner with very good view of the water and a small inlet. Nice staff and delicious food. Menu price reflects... normal inflation recently but food are fresh and tasty. We tried soft shell crab and fresh grilled mahi mahi, both are great.There?s a game machine room on the first floor and coin exchange machine and kids love it. Read more
6/16/22..The service and food were great. Atmosphere and sound side view was awesome. Our last night at obx and wanted shrimp... and crab alfredo. Delicious!! My wife loved the crab cakes and grandson loved his flounder. Must eat at place!! Thanks Sandbarand Grille for a wonderful last night meal. Read more

My daughter had a great dinner here while on vacation. We had a 15-20 minute wait for a table, but we were able to pass that... time in the arcade downstairs playing pinball and then outside on their lovely deck. The service was super friendly andattentive. She enjoyed her chicken Parmesan entree, and my filet mignon was cooked as I requested, though it could have beenbetter seasoned.
